Ecobatteries is a small business specialsing in sales and information in rechargeable batteries, chargers and other ecologically friendly electronics.
Its current products include Maha, Yuasa and Vapex brands of Nickel Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries and chargers.
Ecobatteries can repack almost any NiCad
(nickel-cadmium), NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) or Lithium battery with
new cells.
All items may be ordered over the Internet and sent by courier to the customers door.
Manager Ian Jenkins
Ian has worked in education most of his life. As a secondary school teacher he has taught most subjects to all levels but especially science, maths and computer science.
Ian has a wide range of interests in electronics including alternative energy, amateur radio, computer repair, and web design. Also in outdoor recreation including sea kayaking, tramping and glider flying.
He is currently relief teaching in Wellington secondary schools while running Ecobatteries. Most of his time is spent discovering new electronic products which are friendly to the earth's ecology as they use natural or minimal energy.
Location
Ecobatteries is located in Paremata New Zealand just
north of Porirua
City and 35km north of Wellington.
It overlooks the Paremata Inlet at Browns Bay.

Goods sent by Courier Post using the track and trace system. They usually take 1 working day to most places around New Zealand.
